This after I put myself $150 in the hole becasue Megs was on sale at Meijer. I re-bought everything I like to have on the shelf, as some of my stuff seemed to be thinning or acting weird, since they stayed in the garage over the winter and I wouldn't get some of the liquids to mix right.

I was happy- they even had UC! Gonna try that on the Ex this weekend...

Hey- is it OCD if I detail a 1/10 RC truck?

I have one. It is CRAZY. I put about $800 into it so far and I love it.

You'll get addicted fast. Get brushless, lipo and a higher limit on your credit card and your set.

Man, that brings back memories ! I was into RC about 15 years ago.

My only survivor from that era is an Associated truck which has been sitting on a shelf for the last 10 years.

I didn't have the budget to own and run a gas powered RC, so I kept running battery powered ones. I had a LOT of fun with RC vehicles and that's what led me into electronics later on.

If I ever want to fire it up, I bet I only have to buy new batteries. I hope the voltage, form factor and connector standards are still the same. :P

You're telling me! I have a 20 year old Clod Buster that I just dug up durn my last move and my kids are begging me to play with it. And just this past weekend we saw an RC race track in a parking lot near a Hobby Lobby. The pull from that old obsession is very strong.

One of the toys I have now is a set of VSTank Pro Infrared Battle Tanks. These thing are awesome.

I was into On-Road nitro about 10 years ago. I still have both of my cars, but one needs new transmission gears (I think Ofna made the gears out of wax), and the other just needs a new plug and some fuel and it would be scooting around again.
The new Traxxas Nitro-4Tec looks like some pretty serious business...My Ofna OB-4 was the fastest 1/10 scale on the market when I got it at 55mph...70mph with a 1/10 scale? Wow.
