Which automotive forums you are member of / are out there?

We all know various detailing forums we visit and we all know few forums we visit related to our own cars, but whenever we need info outside our own realm we might be struggling to find good and/or local sources of info and enthusiasts.

For example, I own Supra and MR2 and I know where to related to them but when I needed resources for gf's then Blazer and now Scion, or when her daughter got Mitsubishi, I did not know where to turn for info, resources, help.

So I think it would be of benefit to everyone if members would share which automotive (non-detailing) forums they are members of, or are aware of being out there, so others can easily find where to go when facing something they are not familiar with.

I will start:

supraforums.com Main focus is on MKIV Supras, still lots of info on MKIII ones

I'm just a member here.I wouldn't have the time to spend on other forums aswell.Also,I like Meguiar's products and I don't want to get into conversations about 300$ waxes and the like.

I looked at a civic forum from the outside,but there was too much asking questions about turning 1500/1600cc civic into dragsters but remain daily drivers?'Change the cam,put in a turbo and a nitrous kit.....blaa,blaa,blaa.' Apart from the extreme cost to do the job properly,the engine will need to be bomb proof to survive all that.Maybe I hit a couple of dumb threads,but it put me off.

I used to be an administrator at the Spec-V forum. The amount of bashing, flaming, etc... is unbelievable. I was also on a local forum for a certain Mazda vehicle, but that community is divided by moderators who formed their own cliche with other members.

What I like here is that any bashing is resolved efficently by Mark et al. There's virtually no chance for people to bash one another. When bashing breaks out, the thread gets locked. I like that. In other forums, when arguing happens, moderators would usually choose a side to be on and ban the other guy. Their motive is, "We don't need a reason to ban you."

Other than MOL, I am a member of Detail City, Show Car Detailing (formerly Show Car Garage), and Autopia.

I also spend time at windowsbbs.com for computer issues.

Please, in the best interest of having the value for members out this let's try to keep this on topic, _automotive_ _non-detailing_ forums only, and just the names and what they are about, let's apply non-bashing rule to forums just like it is to companies.
