Hello all. I've been disctracted by personal matters as of late and haven't been here much. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out.
So, I gave myself a early birthday present to cheer myself up. Enjoy!
It's a 1989 Dark Red Metallic Corvette Coupe w/ Saddle Leather interior and it's in very good condition inside and out having been garaged most of its life and has only 89,000 original miles. There are, however, swirls, previous detailer buffer trails and holograms galore. Gee, why am I not surprised? I started taking "before" photos this morning as the sun came up and plan to all day as it passes over the car to show what paint should NOT look like after it's been "buffed" I hope to work some magic with my Flex this weekend.
And get some chrome tips for the dual/dual Flowmaster exhaust. Oh yeah, it rumbles.
I don't know why every vehicle I've purchased in the last 5 years is red? That makes two red cars and a motorcycle now.
I looked at other colors/vettes, but the price was right on this one and it was in the best condition of all of them and hey, red is one of my favorite colors. The other being blue of course.
Anyone have experience and tips for correcting C4 paint, please feel free to share. Thanks in advance.
Have a great weekend everyone!
