I have the same limitation down here, but i kinda understand why there is that limitation.

I think the main reason the detailer lines of meguiars is not available for public use is because they want to ensure that the meguiars detailing (pro-line) product is only used by professional users in body shops.. and also to ensure that people who dont have a wide experience in detailing wont use detailling products they cant handle and will later on comment bad reviews on why meguiars is bad etc... which is why I think the consumer line products is widely available almost everywhere in the world which are mostly failsafe.

Not sure thats entirely true. Here in the states, anyone can buy the pro line. Heck, some of the pro line is available at our local auto parts stores.
I'm not saying that Meg's needs to start selling everything to everyone across the world. Just asking how we, as members of MOL, can get some of these products to our members that are unable to get them theirselves. Obviously, because of shipping prices, the costs would be higher. But I would like to help out some of these members by taking 30 minutes out of my day to ship them some products. Of course they would have to foot the bill. Just looking at the options for doing this.

Just out of curiousity, why isnt m105/205 not allowed in Canada?

Ive sent couple things over seas and to Canada which were "prohibited" but it still went through, (Airsoft stuff) The person received a $60 customs fees when I sent it through UPS but I never ran into a problem using USPS.

          Re: International sales of products..

I'm not entirely sure that M105 and M205 aren't allowed into Canada as they are available from eShine which is a Canadian online dealer?!?!

Part of the problem is shipping onesy twosy stuff. A product might be considered by the International Postal Union as hazardous which includes flammable liquids and the like. Ground shipping of large amounts of such products is not an issue, just load the semi and away it goes, but packages sent through the mail may travel by different methods... if there's space left on the plane, a package containing a pressurized container (also a no-no for mailing) might, even though ground shipping for lowest cost was specified, get diverted to air shipping as there's was excess capacity on the flight, the old waste not, want not syndrome. So what happens when a container breaks open and some strange smelling fluid seeps out? The smell may not be recognized by the person handling it, there's no msds taped to the outside of the package etc. etc., never mind the fact that these packages travel through and on all manners of conveyors, chutes and such where there could be sparks that might ignite anything flammable and the possibility of damage to someones else's mail..... So the postal dudes are pretty picky about what gets shipped through their systems.

Now, the second issue and what might be part of the problem as far as the Megs Detailer line goes is the sticky issue of labels. The label used on a sold in the USA bottle of NXT 2.0 wax does not meet Canadian regulations for retailing. The exterior box AND the label on the bottle itself must be in both official Canadian languages, English and French. Consumer destined products will most likely sell in volumes high enough to justify the not so little expense of this special packaging and labeling requirement, but the limited sales of 3.78 liter (Don't forget, Canada is also Metric!) size jugs may not justify the added cost in the change of packaging considering the limited market. Megs does have a line of professional products in Canada (most, if not all of the Mirror Glaze line) which can meet most of the requirements of the rather limited number of detailers on this side of the border.

In the end, it's sometimes frustrating for us Canadians when it comes to getting the latest and greatest that is so readily available to our cousins in the south but where there is a will, there is a way and we usually find it, if it's important enough.

Almost forgot, ADS lists the following items as not for Alaska, Hawaii and via any re-shipper to a foreign country such as Canada though I can get those items by picking them up at a mail handling service in the US and transport them myself across the border and home, which is what I do.

Had no problem at all with Wheel Brightener, super degreaser gallons etc in the airplane Luckily they sell almost the complete Meguiar's pro line in Holland. But it is just too expensive.
If you think it it's expensive to hire a professional,
            hire an amateur first.
