My brother was friends with Emmanuel Lewis when they were babies. My mother met Madonna when she was pregnant with me, does that count?

Sat next to Mother Teresa for two hours or so on a plane trip in central america back in the 80's.

Great story and reminded me of a famous passenger I once sat with...

Ralph Nader, while he was running for President sat next to me (coach) on a flight from New York City to Toronto and we talked politics and healthcare (in particular) for almost the entire flight. Amazingly nice and down to earth dude.

Russel Simmons & Co. - represented him in a legal matter (and his driver) and met a bunch of folks over at Def Jam including his brother, his wife and Lior Cohen. Another really nice dude who (if not for his driver and daily yoga classes) was just like the guy next door.

Too many NHL players to name - Played with a bunch, went to school with some, played against many and just generally know quite a few.

Claire Danes - Went to lawschool with her brother and met her once.

^that is to cool! So I take it your a hockey fan? I used to know the teams real well back when the Stars were winning the Stanely cup. Been a Modano fan since I was a kid! So you call any of the up for favors and sweet tickets

Can't help to be a hockey fan when you grow up in Canada. Most of us play, many of us grew up with rinks in our backyards and hundreds played in the OHL and the NCAA but the cream of the crop went to the NHL.

My childhood linemate (Jason Dawe) played in the NHL along with a friend, Anson Carter another friend Ed Jovanovski etc...

Can't help to be a hockey fan when you grow up in Canada. Most of us play, many of us grew up with rinks in our backyards and hundreds played in the OHL and the NCAA but the cream of the crop went to the NHL.

I completely forgot you were in Canada Makes more sense now hahaha I love hockey but wish they would lighten up on the roughing rules, I like the fights and big hits! lol

On another note, apparently when I was little at a basketball game me and my dad sat infront of Roger Staubach and talked to him throughout the game, I dont know how I could forget that!

That response was good on TWO fronts.

First, I'm a Toronto Maple Leafs (NUT) and our new GM (Brian Burke) just revamped the entire team to add a bunch of bruisers, so I can't wait to see the Leafs test the "roughing rules". Just do a youtube search on Don Cherry and you'll see my philosophy on how hockey should be played (although I will offer NO comment on Mr. Cherry's attire - lol).

The second part is that growing up on Toronto, we had NO NFL, so you basically either cheered for the Argos (CFL), which is awful, or you picked an NFL team. By the early 80's, I had picked, Danny White, Tony Dorsett and the Cowboys as my team, so sitting in front of Staubach is pretty cool IMO.

Yeah, it really was cool sitting next to him. From what I remember he was one of the nicest guys ive met and really fun to talk to! Plus being a fellow Dallas Mav's fan is a bonus

Charles Barkley,John Elway, Micheal Jordan, Bill Murray, Ray Romano, Kevin James, Jay Leno (see him every year in Monterey), Nick Lache and Jessica Simpson(when they were together), Colin Powell, Robin Williams (visited my son in the hospital last christmas), Kevin Costner, Tiger Woods (played Long Beach jr. golf with him on friday nights)

Whats amazing is with the exception to athletes everyone seems shorter in real life....

Man, all these famous names on here make mine seem kinda shrimpy. But I'll list them anyway.

*James Rogers (used to perform at Music Mansion in Pigeon Forge, TN before it closed - now performs at Dollywood)
*Ron Hamilton (Patch the Pirate, don't know if anybody on here knows who he is or not)
*Michael Blackburn (American sharpshooter from East TN)
*Didn't get to meet him, but I saw Rusty Wallace at the dealership where I work (there are several with his name on them). He came in his helicopter, and I took a few pics of his helicopter.
*When I used to go to church, we had a few state senators, representatives, and the Knox County Sheriff visit a few times.
*Dr. Curtis Hutson (Independent Baptist pastor and editor of The Sword of the Lord newspaper; he was good friends with my church's pastor)

I've met Robin Williams, Booker T and Kurt Angle from WWF...E or whatever it is now while over in Iraq...as well as some other mid level comidians that have skipped my mind, horrible I know.
I've also had a run in with Sandra Bullock while partying it up in Austin, Tx. Ohhh man that woman turns my knees to rubber and melts me down with her voice.....shhhhh don't let the misses see this! lol!
I also met Maya Angelou back in high school, very nice person to meet, very insperational!

I've met The lead singers of Sevendust, Coal Chamber, and Live, members of Live used to live in my city for awhile and delivered food to them on several occasions while working as a delivery driver.

Lastly I met George W Bush back when he was the governer of Texas. I gave him a tour of my M1A1 when I was stationed at Ft Hood.
