I love this stuff, i'ts easy to use and gives a great shine.
I'm prefering this over that stuff from AutoGlym.

@Eddy6th: It may indeed be expensive for us Euro's, but it's worth it.

I didn't respond to his post because he's obviously just poisoning the well and creating false claims about an obviously superb wax. I'm quite surprised that I don't pay more for NXT .

Oh, well, I guess if it beads like any other wax I can go back to Turtle Wax Ice, can't I? Uh, that's not going to happen! I love NXT 2.0! It's the bomb! The last time I put it on was about 5 weeks ago, and it still beads water like crazy - like I just put it on! Great stuff!

Right now I am taking pics of it and waiting for the owner to come collect it and pay his tab.

I will upload them this evening or tonight

Sorry dude but I'm not buying it. If that is what you *truly* found, then it was in your prep, not the product and here is why I think that...

I've used NXT 2.0 from the day it was introduced to the present. It used to be my favorite LSP, but is not any longer (although I still consider it great). In the recent past, I've tried the following list of LSPs:

                  1. NXT 2.0
                  2. Megs GC
                  3. Klasse SG
                  4. S100
                  5. Blackfire Wet Diamond
                  6. Wolfgang DG 3.0
                  7. Natty's Blue
                  8 Victoria Concours Red
                  9. Collinite 845
                  10. Collinite 476s
                  11. Menzerna FMJ
                  12. Pete's 53
                  13. Nano Seal
                  14. PB's EX-P

Plus others and the one thing I've found about *most* of these products is that if I've done equal prep on the car, the "shine" (as you say) is pretty much the same. From the list above, I don't think I ever used a single product where I said... "that just doesn't look shiny" when I was done.

I'm not saying NXT 2.0 was necessarily better looking than any of the above, but it certainly wasn't worse, so forgive me, but I'm not buying the "not shiny" bit.

To me, the best way to evaluate an LSP is with certain other (more measurable) variables, like:

                  1. Ease of application
                  2. Ease of removal
                  3. Staining of trim
                  4. Cost
                  5. Durability (for some - not all)
                  6. Post-wax feel of the paint (slickness)

When you take these factors in consideration, NXT 2.0 is a great product. Easy to use, inexpenseive and excellent durability. I would imagine the next incarnation of the product will be non-staining, making it even better in my books.

I never said it wasn't shiny.
                    I just said it average.
It didn't make me go "wow" when i was done
It looked good, but wasn't thrilled.

Maybe i got a bad batch or something
                    I don't know.
Just figured after all the good reviews i read on here
                    that i would be amazed.
                    But i just wasn't.

I'm not trying to bad mouth Meguiar's
I've used their other products, and have been impressed.
This one didn't do it for me.

I too notice that the shine of NXT 2.0 to be somewhat less impressive than the Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. That is to be expected as it has been believed for many years that carnabu wax often dominates non-wax sealant in terms of shine. I am sure other people will religiously argue otherwise.

Economics theories, namely supply and demand, implies that if synthetic sealant exceeds carnabu wax in almost every way, companies would shift to producing only synthetic sealant. But that is obviously not the case.

I will continue to use NXT 2.0 for its ease of application and longevity.

I understand all of that, but it doesn't change my opinion that something went wrong in the prep of the car.

Let me explain it another way...

Take one of my favorite posters here... Tim Lingor... look at some of his work and the AMAZING prep he does. Tim could use moose drool as a LSP and his cars would still shine like crazy. It is because his prep is 1st class.

I'll even go so far as to say this... lets assume we have two identical cars with nearly identical paint. One finished by Tim, one by me, only he uses basic turtle wax as his LSP and I use "wax z", universally accepted as the shiniest in the biz. Tim uses all of his tools (rotary, DA, hand, etc..), I use my limited weapons but I have wax z. Whose car looks better at the end?

I think we both know the answer.

I also do not believe all LSPs leave cars looking the same, some darken more than others, but on the issue of shine, I think most of your shine comes from paint correction.

See, as I understand the problems with swirl marks is that light does not reflect off of a swirled car the same way it does when it is swirl-free. Thus, a perfect finish, will shine more than one with imperfections (generally).

                          Understand that
I'm not saying my car doesnt shine
                          But after adding the wax
theres not much of a difference.
