  • New GPS

As there were some fantastic deals on GPS units today, I rushed out to Office Depot (of all places) and picked up a Garmin Nuvi 255W for $149. It replaces my old Garmin GPS V.

    Congrats on the new toy!

I love my Garmin! I have a 205 I think. I need to do an online update as some of the roads are a bit different but it still works great. I've been all over the state never lost once.

Big sale on milk at the grocery store, I picked up a gallon of organic 1%. It replaced last weeks 2% milk, which had gone bad.

GPSes are great. I don't know how I ever found my way around before them. I have a 2 year old Magellan that still does everything I need it to. Gone forever are the days of printing out MapQuest or Google maps and driving with the printout on my steering wheel

Have to agree there.I never ever bothered, but the honda insight has the satnav called i-pilot.really helps out if your in a city, you've never been before.Although this one is up to date, some new roads aren't there.i was told that every so often the dvd should be replaced.I think they cost about 100$ or more....So no thanks! I'll just use it as a driver aid and not 100% perfection.
