  • Foam Gun Wash

I hope in the coming months I will be blessed to get a foam gun. During the Summer months my Truck does not really get that dirty, it mainly just gets dusty, but after all the hard work I spend/spent polishing swirls out, I do not want to QD that much anymore. So I was wondering for moderate dust if you guys just hit the car with a foam gun, and rinse off then soap, dry and call it a day.

Just a note to add, I used ColorX the other day, and enjoyed the product. Although I felt like I messed up big time. I know it has abrasives in it, but I felt like you could work it a little bit and be okay. WRONG, I have to spend another day polishing due to my stupidity because now I have SWIRLS left from the abrassives in ColorX.

    Thanks!!!

When I'm going for a strict soap soak and rinse with no agitation I load up the foam gun with NXT car wash soap because of it's tendency to encapsulate dirt and water softners which allow the soap to dwell on the surface a bit longer without spotting.

This will remove dust similar to a quick QD treatment but obviously won't remove anything that requires agitation.
