  • I need your help..

I am stumped as far as what I should do with my decals. I will be removing the dealership sticker today, why i haven't already i don't know. My question is should I remove all the decals, some, or leave them on. Here are a few pictures, also i've noticed a nasty stain in the front logo. Any idea what this could be?

*Anyone use photobucket? It seems slow now days, anything out there faster? Possibly Flkr?

    Thanks everyone!

Notice the stain on..it appears to be inside.

I would leave all of em on and just remove the berge ford sticker. Im not too sure what that stain is though. Also, I use photobucket and it seems to work fine for me. It takes about 10 seconds or less to upload a pic. Never tried flickr so im sorry I can't help you there.

It's really a personal choice. I don't remove factory badging and decals because a debadged and/or de-decaled (?) car might take a small hit in resale value. Not much, but say the time comes and you want to sell your truck but the buyer is hedging cuz "where's all the cool decals and badges?". Some buyers might try to use it as leverage to lower the price. Silly, I know. But in the late 70's you couldn't sell a Trans-Am without that screaming chicken covering the hood.

I will be keeping this truck till the wheels fall off, or unless someone sells me a tdi.

+1 on the dealer sticker. I've noticed dealer decals are something that happens a lot in the Midwest. I have never seen a new car in California where the dealer slapped some obscene billboard promoting his dealership across the trunklid. License plate frames, sure. But even then a lot of SoCal dealers make them innocuous as possible and are even veering away from the cheap plastic frames to nicer looking metal ones

I would leave most of the stickers.Maybe the Berge is a bit big.Go for it with the hair dryer.

It's hard to tell from the pic if that is a blemish on the inside. The 'rose' effect looks like the plastic is cracked on the inside(I think there is a split).Maybe had a knock? I would just change it for a new one...How much from a Ford dealership?

It is your choice. Personally I would just take off the dealer sticker. Either way your truck will still look great.

I'd take off the dealer sticker and the SPORT sticker on the side. Just my .02.

Just remove the "berge" sticker and leave everything else on, IMHO. Funny, but if I was purchasing a car from a dealer that put their logo on the paint, I'd tell them to take it off or their would be no sale. I'm glad my dealer uses license plate frames for advertising instead!
