    Re: Press release

Joe, I write press releases quite often at work. Of course, it usually involves the following:

Vehicle 1 was northbound on Colorado 285 approaching the intersection of County Road J. Vehicle 1 swerved to avoid a cow in the road. Vehicle 1 drove off the right side of the road. Vehicle 1 began to rotate clockwise. Vehicle 1 overturned 2.5 times. Vehicle 1 driver was ejected through the sunroof. Vehicle 1 came to final rest on its roof facing southwest. Vehicle 1 driver was at final rest 45 feet east of the road and was facing north on his back.
Driver was not wearing his safety belt and alcohol was a factor.

Of course, this isn't how they always go. Sometimes they swerve to the left.

          Re: Press release

Always start with a catchy title. Something like:

          MAN BITES DOG.

If you need help you know I am happy to give it a shot for you.
There are much better writin' folk on this here site then me, though.

          Shucks and heck.

            And then I found $5!

                Re: Press release

I have written several press releases for various reasons. What kind of release do you want? Are you looking to make a "direct advertisement" An example of that would be.... Superior Shine now offers paint swirl remover.... Or, are you looking to offer general advice and site your company as the "expert knowledge" An example of that would be releasing a PR about the proper way to wax a car. If I had more knowledge of what you were looking for I could help you out more. Please let me know how I can help.
