  • Advice Needed. Canvas Top Protection.

I am on the Board of Directors of my condominium complex. A week ago, we just installed new playground equipment.

The play set has a canvas top (to make it seem like a fort). I am worried about it fading from the sun's rays and want to do something to keep it aesthetically appealing to help minimize fading. The color of the canvas is dark green.

What product could I use that has UV protection to minimize the fading?

    The new play set:

    The canvas top in question:

Would love to put some Endurance Gel on that tire

    Thanks for looking!

You're in luck. Check out Meguiar's canvas cleaner and protectant.

Just a heads up, the Canvas Protectant is soon to be discontinued, so if you want to continually use it, I would stock up on it

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

That's the best product you can get, imo.
        JUST USE SOMETHING!
I go by these all the time and just wish someone would just use something on it!
If you get any flak from anyone just point out the replacement cost of the canvas.
Here's a Google search for ya:

Exactly Mario. It's only two weeks old, and I figured that by next year or two it would be faded. Being That I am on the Board of Directors, I personally want to do something to maintain the play set. No one for sure would give me any problem, because with only 112 units in my complex, there seems to be only 12 of us that are willing to do anything without monetary compensation. Sad part is, 9 of the 12 are on the Board!

          Thanks for those links!
