After doing an intensive research for many months about which fishing kayak to buy I finally pulled the trigger a couple days ago. Now I have one more obsession on my list
.No more crowded piers, annoying people, just me and this lady in the open water. I still have to get a couple of goodies to supplement my fishing experience but I am so happy
I am so exicted to put this yak on the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But it's raining so much here in FL
, just when I picked her up. I got rain all the way,I made my purchase at Strike Zone Fishing in Jacksonville, FL. I drove 2 hours.

Well for only $40 I got this hitch extender at Harbor Freights. I placed some padding on it to protect the yak.
Getting home
I installed the seat and added a couple of fishing goodies to give you an idea of my fishing platform. It has so much storage!. It's still a work on progress.
Dry hatch in the back, sealed compartment. It is right behind the seat.
Center hatches. It has an internal bait tank (I just have to buy a pump), which can be used for storage too.
Big front hatch, which can be used as a seat for a kid.
Here is a nice compartment for the BEER
, of course it has to be close to the seat.
