Nice pics Mark! To me this car is like the Flex when it first came out, I wasn't too thrilled about it but it has since grown on me. I really like the direction Ford is heading these days and when it comes time to retire the Saturn, Ford will definately be on my top 2 wish list, besides a new Mitsubishi Lancer.

Take a road trip over here in Pa Amish country. Get some shots next to a horse and buggy to show old school meets new school!

Your night shots are cool, the extended exposure came out great...BUT, you lost the car in most of them. I think a little foreground lighting aimed at the car would have really stood out nicely! Yours all have the lighting above or behind the car.
I'm no photo expert, just my thoughts!

I agree that the car wasn't the main Focus in a few of the pictures. My friend was manning the camera and I kept telling him to zoom in on the car more but being that he is a normal photographer, and not a car guy, he liked the other shots more.

Next time I will be manning the camera

How did you shoot the HDR shots? Do you take 3 different shots at different exposure then blend them all?

You use special software to combine 3 different pictures (or more), each with different exposure settings. Then you tweak the settings to get the desired effect. It's really fun, but very time consuming. I did a bad job on most of them and it still took about an hour each.

Pros would laugh at my work...

I liked the pics. I am really starting to like the Fiesta.

I like the new Fiesta too and have already seen quite a few on the roads here.

The one you photographed,is it a showcar? My only thing is the graphics....they're a bit busy looking from a distance.The car would be nicer without them.

The car I am driving is one of 140 in the US, 40 of which are being used by Ford directly for media events and testing. The other hundred (including mine) were given out to the top 100 socially vibrant people Ford could find (Or so I am told) for the www.Fiestamovement.com/agent67

As for the decals, they have since been removed. Let me know what you think of these true HDR shots!

Well made video.

Was that posted a month or so ago?I think i saw it already,unless you've made some changes.

It really is a nice looking car.The question earlier about the US spec. Is it just to do with the testing,and not changing anything with the engines? Will all the engine models be the same?

Same video- I just wanted to show you the car without the decals

The reason why they have the Euro car in the US is for a combination of testing, and also to do this marketing campaign before the factory in North America is ready.

As for changes, the base engine should stay the same, but from what I have read and believe there will possibly be 1 or more EcoBoost (twin turbo + direct injected) options.

I was using UQD and micro on my Insight this evening to remove some light dust,and a new black fiesta passed by while i was working.It then parked in a nearby car park.So I went over just to take a quick look.Great looker.I didn't see the owner though.Otherwise,I would have told him what to use,being a black car.'NXT Tech wax 2 and UQD'........I hope I don't see it in a couple of months time,all hazy looking with swirls!
