Hi everyone,

I would like to announce a cool new website built by Chris, aka williams22 that contains an easy to navigate interface with Code Snippets for inserting pre-formatted links and pictures into your messages.

Like this,

If you have ever read any of my posts, you will see I often include bold, blue links sometimes with pictures. I created a cheat sheet of sorts in Microsoft Word called "Code Snippets", I e-mailed this to Chris and he had the brilliant idea to take my MS Word file and create a website using Frames to make an easy to navigate source for these code snippets.


By the way, my list of code snippets was not complete, and not all formatted for bold and blue text links and I didn't have all of the picture codes added either. Chris has went through and completed the list on his own time.

Now anyone can use this website as a resource to highlight, copy and paste commonly used links and pictures into your messages to help out other forum members.

All I can say is Great Job Chris!.

Thanks for the kind words Mike!

I would like to let everyone know that this site is still very much a work in progress. I generally add new things every day. Also, Mike and I are currently trying to decide on the look we want for the site so you may notice it changing quite a bit.

For those of you who have created snippets that you want added to the site I will be making an easy way to submit them. Until then you can email them to me at duke22@adelphia.net.

I re-read it and I think he said you made a page to get pics of product from.

What I have made is an organized collection of Code Snippets . This is what people like Mike use when posting using links and pictures of products. If you go to the site I think you will understand a little more. You copy a snippet and paste it into a post on this forum to se it.

That is a great help, I have tried to do what Mike does, and it took me an extra 5 minutes (I'm on dialup) to find the product, gather the links and insert it into my post.

This will make us all look good, well still not as good as the master Mike.

Looks like this site is getting a real positive response! That's great!

I have just set up an email account that I will use to recieve any new code snippets anyone would like to submit. You may also send me suggestions for the site and point out any errors in any of the links.

The problem I'm having is many/most of the URL addresses on Meguiar's.com have been changed with the move to the new system they are using and now many of the links don't work.

I need someone to update the entire snippet site as well as edit and fix all the broken links on the forum.

Currently we have 72,006 Forum posts, so this will take a long time and a lot of work.
