Kids...

So, it's 7am on Saturday morning. I've been up with my 2 year old daughter since 5:45, watching the Backyardigans and Max and Ruby.

For those of you who don't know, if you ever wish someone to kill themselves, just lock them in a room for 4 hours with the show Max and Ruby and I assure it will do the job.

Would it look weird if I just sat her in my car with a DVD playing, while I wash the car at 6am? I just don't know what to do with myself since sleeping is not an option.

Haha it would be the perfect time of day to wash your car. haha

Really strange thinking how you are just waking up and I haven't even gone to sleep yet... but then again you are up pretty early and I am going to sleep really late.

Probably has something to do with our life stages. 10 years ago, I would have been coming home at the time I get up on weekends nowadays!

Heck, it's 4:30pm and I keep looking at the clock waiting for bed time!!!

I agree, cherish the time you have with them now... broken record... but been there done that and now mine are grown and gone.

Boy do I miss a good half hour with scooby doo!!!

Yeah, I miss Disney cartoons after hating them. I watched Aladdin several million times when it came out when my oldest was a tike.....We were quite broke when it came out on video and 15 bucks for a video was a lot of money for us for a video. She choked a tear and I melted and bought it for her.....She got me!

Now she is a senior and graduating shortly!

Ahhh the times!

Been said before, Enjoy all the time you canspend with your kids. On the flip side, my wife went out with our youngest daughter yesterday. They had to look at wedding dresses. Were does the time go.
