Two pieces of advice for multiple choice:
1. If your debating whether your first instinct are right or not go with your gut instinct. Only change an answer if your sure the other is correct.
ie, if you answered a question B and go back and think it may be D, but your not sure stick with B.
2. Read the answers backwards, starting with the last one (E or D, whichever it is). This way you force yourself to read all the choices. It's sometimes too easy to see one answer which seems right and not read another which is obviously a better answer, except you didn't read that choice.Later,

My advice is give it your best shot. The psat is more of a practice than anything else. I don't actually remember it being very similar to the sat. When you get around to the sat, I have plenty of advice for you there. Between the review classes I have teaken and the actual sat, you could say I have taken the sat around ten times.

Just be aware of how multiple choice tests are made. One is the "best" answer; another choice will be close (a distractor); another will be on topic but nothing to do with the question. Finally, one will be way out in left field. Therefore, always read all of the choices.
Also, be very aware of "which of the following is not..." type of questions.
Finally, be sure to check each question corresponds with your answer. If you miss a question on a bubble sheet, you may have every question from that point onward incorrect.

Thanks for the advice guys!
I'm shooting for the 98th or 99th percentile so it's going to be fairly tough to achieve my goal. Compared with my GPA and course difficulty I think 99th is quite reasonable.
