  • Sierra II 12'x12' Slanted leg canopy on sale ($99.99) at Big 5 Sporting Goods

FYI. $50 off! There's been some forum discussion recently regarding the need for a canopy by some mobile detailers. Don't know if the sale is nationwide for the EZ UP ‘SIERRA II’ SLANTED LEG SHELTER or local to SoCal, but check your local Sunday paper for their ad or check the Big 5 website.

Follow up question for those of you who use a canopy. If you detail a vehicle parked on the street, are there any restrictions as to how far out a canopy can extend into the street from the curb without violating any laws? Maybe 3-4 ft beyond the car itself?

      Nothing beyond your car itself
      Your creating a road hazard
It's a parkway not a driveway (makes no since)
Something apples to opening your door when you get out of your car (and you get hit, it's both your fault)
I'd give you a ticket for either one of those
