  • Model cars anyone?

I don't know if anyone here is into them or builds them but I am, very much, as I go to the biggest show in the states Saturday. I am very much into them, with my dad. :driver:
here's some pictures I took with my new camera, enjoy and thanks for looking!

I don't know if I took a picture of it but I have the blue PIAA Accord.

I collect die casts cars, trucks, and whatever. I have over 150. Some are sets of two one gold and one the regular colors. Most are Nascar, some hot rods, F1, Indy cars, Dragsters, and haulers. I also have a number of bobble heads.

I don't really build model cars, but I do build model tanks, 1/35 sized.
Its a good relaxer for me. I always wanted to get into cars but working with cars in general, everyday sure does get to me.

I wonder how m205 will work on miniatures...maybe start a miniature detailing service? :P

That takes a lot of patience.

            Here's a few I've done over the years - 1/24 scale Nascar:

Unfortunately I don't have a current photo of my curio cabinet, it's filled with close to 90 1/24ths.

Oh yes, it is great fun and relaxing, it's especially fun when you can get with a group of guys in a model club and hang out and go to these shows.
Cars are fun to build, I guess it would kind of get to you but once you start building something you like, you're hooked.
Those NASCARS are nice, theres a guy in our club that builds them and I know a few that go all out with detail, some even have lug nuts that you can actually take off.

I wouldn't mind starting a miniature detailing service, some I know really polish their cars, my dad is doing it to most he builds and i'm starting, that Fairlady Z, I don't know if I posted that but that I polished. I would love to do that, people send their car to get polished and maybe put on race decals. The thing is making sure you do't screw up their paint job, it can be hard to find the color and spray it right.

If any of you are thinking about it and are interested, you can check out the forum I go to and many of the people I know and that are in clubs go to. Model Cars Mag.
