Bought a new truck....

Added a new truck to the stable couple of days ago. Have the van, but hate driving that everyday. Also have a 1st gen Lighting(1994 model), but with the engine out of it right now, makes it a bit tough to drive Plus, I'm building this Lightning to be more of a power house, and not a daily driver. Guess it's more of a street/strip truck. Should be right around 500hp(NA) to the wheels.

Friend of mine ran into some financial problems, and needed to get out from under the note on this truck. Made me a deal I couldn't refuse, so I took it off his hands. Didn't NEED it, but thought it would be nice to drive something other than the van on a daily basis. I buffed this truck out for him in January, right before my surgery, here's the thread...

Anyhow, I'm really excited about! Cool little truck. Custom paint, about $2k worth of stereo equipment for me to aggravate everyone else with my heavy metal Interior is decked out with leather, and power everything. Sunroof(which I guess is rare on these things). I'm not much of a mini truck fan, but this one really caught my eye. Just something about it that I really like. Clean and not overdone I guess.

I bet that gets better gas mileage than the van, LOL. What brand of audio is in it? Any pics of the interior?

No interior pictures yet. Need to clean it up a bit before I take any pictures. Pretty busy with the business right now, but may have some time in the evenings to start working on it. Heck, I haven't even had time to wash it yet
Audio is Alpine and JL. Although 1 of the amps isn't doing so well. It'll cut out if you have the windows up and are cranking the music. Not sure whats going on with it. Might need to replace it(I don't know much about aftermarket audio). But for the deal I got, replacing an amp really isn't a big deal

Edit: and yes, it's a HUGE improvement in gas mileage! About 10mpg better!

Yeah, it'll be a chore to keep it looking good. Pretty soft paint, and a pain to polish out. I'm sure I'll figure out a system for it, and keep it on some regular maintenance.

i think itd look good all murdered out......smoke the headlights/running lights, brake light and 3rd brake light, tint all the windows and put some black wheels on it! I think personally thatd look really good.
