Thanks Colin, I sure am blessed to have the opportunity at all.

    Good Show Mark

That is truly exciting, a new Fiesta, interview the bigdogs, that is really cool.

Tell them to quit worrying about making money and bring the Americans back to domestic made cars and give us quality over quantity.

    Keep us posted!

Trust me when I tell you, Ford has turned over a new chapter. They are not the short sighted greedy, foolish company they were just a few years ago. They are turning into a lean, agile, smart, and bold machine that is going to be listening to its customers more closely than anyone in the industry. You can quote me on that.

Also rest assured, the quality is already here (think ANY model re-designed since Mulally stepped into the CEO role), and it will keep getting better (Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Edge, Flex, Mustang)

I can see it now. 15-20 years in the future. The headline in auto news is:

    Ford names Mark Kleis CEO.

    Once again Congrats.
Now that I like the sound of!

I detail cars and moderate here! But I also happened to be one out of 100 people chosen to represent Ford motor company by having a 2011 Ford Fiesta from April 20th through November 30, 2009 to test out, write about, and spread the word about prior to it going on sale early/mid 2010 in America.

    Way to go buddy!

I'm sure I will hear all about it.

Thanks a lot Andy. I hope you can come see it in person some time.

Very cool and congrats. I was just in Belgium and spotted the new Fiesta.. Very good looking car. I think it was a diesel? From all I've read they are hesitant to bring the diesels here. It's a shame because they are great cars. All European Fords look great. I especially liked the Focus C-max.

Looking forward to future posts and pics.

You can be like that kid from the movie the Postman and name your kid Ford Lincoln Mercury!
I think Ford is definately headed in the right direction now. They're the best off of the big 3 right now and I'm really liking the new Fusion, Mustang, and Flex. When it's time to say goodbye to my Saturn or the wifey's Focus I will definately have Ford in mind.
Congratulations on landing that interview, we all know you deserve it and do us proud by shining that bad boy up so that the Ford brass can see it's TRUE beauty!

          Re: I just found out....

Do me a favor, I bought my F350 7.5L crewcab dually new in 1993, to this day I can't tow my 5th wheel RV without warping the brakes and turning the brake fluid black...
Ask them if they have any spare parts laying around?

The thought of trading it in crossed my mind, then my wife hit me with her frying pan, I think I'll keep it for now!
