For those who have never heard of Frog Tape.

I was wondering if any one has used it?
    Do you like it?

    Thanks

Looks like it would be better for painting. It says it makes cleaner lines. The paint interacts with the edges of the tape and it forms a barrier to prevent the paint from bleeding threw. Not sure if it would interact with the properties of a wax.

Buy a roll, take a hit for the team. See if it works.

      Thanks
I just used this tape on my last detail, it worked very well much better then the blue painters tape. I found it stuck much better to porous surfaces and was easy to conform to different shapes. Being that I didn't purchase the roll I have I can't say if it's worth the price or not.

I don't think it's worth the price for detailing. I've heard it works great for painting!

            Re: Frog Tape

Kind of overkill for detailing but excellent for painters. If you do both then its the bomb but a little bit pricey just to use on a detailing job.Great for flaming helmets etc.

I do not know where you guys found the price.
But my Dad saw it in the Hobo ad for $2 or $3.
Which for me is about the same price as the blue tape.
I will see how it is tomorrow!!

Sweet! That would be a great price.

                What's Hobo?

Thanks! Never heard of it before. Looks like a pretty handy store. I browsed the website and saw the ad. Looks like a great price. Let us know how it works for you.

I saw the 1-1/2" and the 2" in the ad. I hope they have the 1" size.
I think 1-1/2" is too big to put on some trim.

                        Re: Frog Tape

I got Frog Tape yesterday, but have yet to try it on a car.
But our oven has a plastic handle kind of like trim, and it stuck easily to it with our any rubbing.
                        It peeled off well too.
I can not wait to use it next Sunday!!
