Gang,
This weekend my Wife went up to visit the oldest daughter in Seattle. Seen as I was a bachelor, I thought I would take the youngest daughter and go shopping. We had a gas, went to stores and looked at everything under the sun for 7 hours! I am pooped! She ran my legs off and she had a great time and yapped my head off!
She got some cool stuff and we had dinner and drove home. She also helped me get some food shopping done and bagged all the groceries and loaded them into the car. When we got home she unloaded the car and put everything away.....I did pretty much nothing except open my wallet
It was fun to be with her, although I had to listen to bands that spelled words wrong. What's with this Flo Rida???? I had Tom Petty and the Cars and she changed the XM! LOL. It was her day anyways. The boy didn't want to go, so when we got home she was showing all the stuff "I" bought for her (she had her own money for stuff) and when he was about to snap (he's 16) she went out and got a skateboard we bought for him (he broke his) and he was happy. It was cruel, but funny and he was happy at the end. She kept a straight face and I was in the kitchen trying not to laugh as she acted her way through all the stuff she got, clothes, headphones for her ipod, Oregon State pillow, books and other stuff and I think she showed a couple of things twice to really rub it in.....LOL.
Anyways....I couldn't pull the trigger on some stuff I could've used from ADS because I planned this little outing..... so, I did some searching as we were out and about......sacrifices for our kids eh!
We went to Big Lots and a store called Big R (ranch/farming store, Carhart galore) and Fred Meyer and found some goodies! The only store we didn't plan was Big R as they have some Meguiar's stuff I don't normally see in the normal stores we go to.
the line up:
6 bottles of Multi Piece for $3.50 a piece (Big Lots). Roll of three SS MF towels for $6.95, two 3 pk of Soft Buff for $6.95 each and...the brush for like $2.95 (Big R). NXT All Metal Polysh ($7.03), Hot Rims Chrome Polish ($4.79)and NXT Window Cleaner ($6.39) - 20% off! (Fred Meyer, Oregon stores I think). It was a good day indeed!
