  • Amsterdam or Buenos Aries?

Hey guys, I'm working on my MBA and I've got to take an international trip in mid 2010. Looks like my options are either Amsterdam, The Netherlands or Buenos Aries, Argentina.

Any thoughts / suggestions on either possible locations?

I have a friend that he's doing his masters in law in Argentina.
He told me he loved Argentina, some things are cheap (like wine) but other things are real expensive

Both seem kinda scary? I think you will be safer in Amsterdam... but I personally wouldn't be a fan of that "environment."

There is some crazy crime and kidnapping going on JUST outside and sometimes inside the tourist areas in Argentina.

        I would take Argentina.

Argentine is a beautiful country, however it hasn't really recovered from its economic meltdown(circa 2001). Buenos Aries is still heavily dependant on tourism , so you should be safe, but outlying regions can get scary quick.

Ive been in Amsterdam couple times for connection flights and I loved it. The great thing about Amsterdam is that there are trains everywhere so you can go alllll over Europe as well. Same goes forthe Netherlands.

How long are you going to be staying there?

Around 10-12 days, mainly visiting for school work and to visit with some companies. I've been to London and would love to re-visit while I am over there. Leaning towards Amsterdam, I hear it is beautiful.
