  • Pagani Zonda???

    Hi everyone,

I live and Los Angeles, California and I have to say, seeing exotics cars on the street is a norm. Out of the many exotic cars i've seen on the streets(Enzo Ferrari, F430 Scuderia, Lamborghini LP640.......and more), i have never seen the Pagani Zonda yet.

Is the Pagani Zonda even street legal in our American standards? I heard from someone that they don't sell it here......really? I don't know if the person I heard it from is right but whatever.

I have to admit the Pagani Zonda is very beautiful exotic car and being an exotic car fan that I am, it would be a blessing just to even getting a chance to sit inside one. Has anyone out there got a chance to detail a Pagani Zonda?

Mike Phillips, Michael Stoops, and Mike Pennington did you guys ever got to detail a Pagani Zonda before? I wonder how delicate is the paint on that car, I am thinking very because the Pagani Zonda is pretty light.

        Re: Pagani Zonda???

From what I understand Horatio Pagani has just recently begun the process of getting his cars certified for US sale. That process includes crash testing, emissions verification, and other things that are extremely expensive for even a major manufacturer to deal with, let alone a specialty maker like Pagani, Koenigsegg, Wiesmann, etc. Manufacturers like Noble get around this by bringing cars to the US without an engine, which is fitted later on by the importer/seller, thereby classifying them as kit cars and exempting them from a lot of these regulations.

The Pagani Zonda and Koenigsegg CCX are two of my all time favorite rides, and should I ever be given the opportunity to detail either, rest assured this forum would be flooded with images of the process. Not to mention a few shots of my mug with the biggest, stupidest grin you've ever seen!!

A search online says only 95 have been produced.

The current run of Zondas are nearing the end of their limited production run. I know that Wyclef bought one and it is in the Miami area. Pagani is launching a newer model that will offered for the US market presumably next year.

Definitely awesome cars. I have a friend, who knows a friend (lol) with a Ford GT...I'm hoping to get a shot at detailing it.
