Larger PM box???

Not sure where to stick this, but what are the possibilities of getting larger PM boxes? Maybe a paid membership where you can get more PM's?
I'm constantly having to delete valuable PM's that I really don't want to


And I know we have the ability to download them, but it's rather confusing to try and get back into the saved files to re-read or respond or re-whatever.

What kind of number were you looking at?

The max right now is 70 PMs, even for Admin and Moderators, it's a way to force us to keep our in-box and sent mailbox caught up and emptied.

Your thoughts?

I find this to be a problem on most forums. I understand the need, but they fill up SOOOO fast!

Actually most limit it to 50, so MOL is ahead of the game.

On 2 other forums I am on, you pay like $10/yr to become a forum sponsor and get extra PM room among other things.

I think that would be a good idea as well...not sure of what a appropriate amount of a storage would be. I like the paid subscription idea a lot.Ryan

Hmm, maybe if we did something neat like offer to send out an official MOL sticker with the year on it for each year and have people donate $10- then they get fringe benefits like a larger PM limit and...?

I have mine setup so that an email copy is sent to me. That way, I have an email copy of everything.

But, I know that some are still having problems with the email notifications.

Yeah if you get the email notifications then you don't need them in your MOL inbox

The mesages do pile up fast...Don't do any paid membership please!!!

I keep a couple of PM's but make sure I delete sent ones. I don't PM much except to trade addresses once in a blue moon. If the cutoff is 70, that's not bad.

If something is real important, I print it out.....

You could up it a little, those with certain amount of post's or time on MOL, up their limit from the minimum????.....

The idea isn't make all memberships be paid. You pay for extras above what you normally get. Quick and easy way (after the set-up of it of course) to help pay costs too.

I don't know what the right # is. But it seems like I have to go through my PM's at least once a week. Mostly from people wanting detailing advice, which I'm not against helping someone out.

I'd pay $20 a year to get a sticker or T-shirt and a couple hundred or more PM's

Haha, i cant really have a say in this since i dont have any PM's however a paid thing might not be a bad idea??? not sure on a good number though

I'd be down for the shirt if I could get it in my size, lol! Though, IMO, I'd like a colored decal more.
