In a kind and nice way, I think you should start your own thread for your question instead of tagging it onto Kevin's thread asking for information and resources about website Techs.

If you start you're own thread I'll remove this post from Kevin's thread.

Once you purchase your domain Kevin, I could help you out on a website.

I didn't mean to "Hijack" your thread, I was just showing an example of my work....

First impression, I didn't like it. I didn't like the color.
Second impression. I don't want a kid to work on my car. (you look very young) Some people might not like a young person working on there car so, you really have to sell yourself as a pro.

Now I'm giving you what I felt when I instantly clicked onto your site. As your potential customers will.
After looking around I found it to be informative and explains your services well. I didn't mind the color after a while.
Overall it's a very nice site and you should be proud of it.

Also look into disabling "right clicking". PEOPLE WILL STEAL FROM YOUR SITE. Joe at Superior Shine had a problem with this.

So that's my two cents. I hope I helped, keep improving it and AD LOTS OF PICS! I like to see what people do when they are trying to sell me their services.

          I liked his website.
I thought it was simple, informative, and easy to use/navigate.
I have a lot of people that I know want me to work on their cars, really, really badly.
I think if you have the experience and you can show them your work, then you are hired.

My first thoughts were that Matt was being honest by admitting he was 16, showing a picture of himself, and admitting his previous detailing experience was cars of friends and family. But Maserati Mario has a point. It would be a shame if a potential customers see the age, the pic, and pass on you without giving you a chance to sell your skills over the phone. I would lose the age admission, the pic (most detailers don't show themselves on their websites - at least the ones I've seen) and stick with the meat of what you're selling - your professional detailing services. Also, if you have insured or bonded your business, you might want to have that on your home page. I'm sure you're already in process, but definitely add more photos of other cars you have done - preferably showing a diversity of paint colors and vehicle types. Other than that, looks like a solid effort. Your website is easy to navigate, isn't cluttered, and you did a great job on listing your services and packages. One question, (maybe I missed it) do your package prices apply to all vehicles, including vans and trucks? You may want to add a disclaimer that vehicles larger than a full sized sedan will incur an additional charge.

            Best of luck!

I really don't buy this whole don't sell your age thing. Put your age out there, even bold it, highlight it. It's something I take pride in trying to convince my customer to trust me with their car. I honestly think its a business situation that I come to the top off.

I've handled $1000 cars up to $250,000 cars and those $100k plus cars took a lot of work on my part to get the customer to let me work on their car. Yes, I knew going in that I could be turned down or laughed at but in the end I usually got the customer.

Back to the site, looks good!

If you get a contract with Meguiar's you can, I'm not sure if he did or not.

Also, I like your Lexus with those rims and tint better than the one in your Avatar. What type of rims are those?

It worked for Me in FireFox.
I had to wait two or three seconds, because one image was missing.

                          Re: Review my website

I'd remove some of the language that points to your age. Either you can detail well or you cannot. Some customers might not opt for having a person under legal age doing their car. What if you damage their car who can they go after for damages? Not a minor.

I'd also skip the bit about detailing for friends and family and now decided to do the public. You might replace that with some positive comments about your detailing from your friends.

From my experience, I'd skip doing the headliners. This is the most unpredictable part of a car to detail.

I'd also modify the packages you offer slightly. I'd cut it down to maybe three. Classic, Premium and Ultra. I'd go with pricing of $50, $125, and $250. I'd not offer the wash only option. You will not make money doing $20 washes. You might also add an asterisk for hourly specific items. You will run into some cars that are so gross you won't want to do them for the quoted money.

                          I'd suggest:

The Classic package would include your premium package with full interior and exterior cleaning.

The Premium is fine but are you not going to clean the windows in the previous package(s)? You can't really give a customer a car wash without cleaning the windows.

The Ultra package should do it all including a clay bar.

I'd also have some business cards printed and add a $10-$25 off bring back coupon on the card. i.e. Bring this card back within 6 months for $10 off on the Premium package or $25 off of the Ultra package.

                          Good start.

I'm out of time but I'll follow up later today. A few final thoughts... Don't expect to get much business from a web site. I got most of my new business from brochures and word of mouth advertising. Have some brochures printed and pin them up in supermarkets and businesses. I got a lot of business from several local barbershops and beauty salons. You'd be surprised how many women want to have their husbands cars detailed. LOL

Your site looks good. The only thing I would change is the name on your last package. "Professional" detail to me implies that for the big money you will do you best work. It conveys the idea that on the other packages it will be less then professional. Good luck to you.

                              Re: Review my website

Wow, thanks for all of the feedback.

The only reason I added the about me page is so that when they pull there cars into the driveway they aren't surprised when they see a 16 year old ready to detail their car. I just thought it would be best to be honest up front.

The colors are similar to Meguiar's that's why I went with them. Trust me, it was the best color scheme available through MS Office Live.

I might simplify the packages as well, there might be too many. But I know people in my neighborhood that would just like there car quickly washed, not an entire day spent on it.

I don't know what the deal is with the gallery. There are no pictures missing from it. It just takes a second to load. I will also see if there is an option to disable right click. Not much I can do about that otherwise. I have my little "copyright" icon.
