If the coating lasts for years but can be instilled with swirls and scratches, how then does one remove the swirls and scratches out of the coating?

Aren't you in effect just back to the original problem which is taking care of the coating? (the paint on the car).
Those were my thoughts exactly. A nano-wax sounds more reasonable.

(Sorry, I'm multi-tasking behind the scenes)

I actually thought I had some posts here, but I guess not.

I've been out of the detailing forums for a while. I've been keeping as busy as possible with Paintless Dent Repair and that's usually filling my time.

Lots of people join and read but never post or after getting the information they're looking for they go detail their car and we never see them again. It's all good.

Something to protect the paint and avoid having to wax the car during 1 year ?

What is the best product for Meguiars ?

                  thank you.

Meguiar's doesn't offer a coating for the US market. They do offer M188 Deep Crystal Paint Coating oversees. Which is probably what is shown in the video.

If you want a coating, you will have to go to another brand.

"Best" is relative to what the user thinks is best.

Perhaps create a thread with what exactly you are looking for and what your end goal is so that others can chime in as well.

Again "best" is relative to what the user thinks is best. There are a lot of manufacturers that offer their brand of coating regardlesss if it is ceramic or SiO2 based. Optimum, CarPro, 22PLE are just a few that offer coatings. I would just pick one and go with that. Gloss Coat is one of the easiest one's to use.

Best is the one that last the most. I don't want to have to do it again soon.

Most are semi permanent and will net you between 2-3 years. Look into those manufactures that I posted.
