    Local Car Wash

    I know we are not supposed to bash, it is more of pointing out what not to dry your car with. Since Meguiars Online is not just about posting details you have done it is also about education. My Mom took this page out of the Newspaper because she knows I am into it. If you can not tell from the picture they are drying the car with bath towels.That is a big NO NO!

    Also it is ironic how there sign says, "We care for your car" when they are instilling swirls into the paint.

    The really good 100% Made in USA cotton towels aren't bad though! Just don't let the ladies in the house know you are using them to dry the car...

      Makes my stomach turn looking at that. They probably used the same towels on 25 other vehicles.

      I won't even let the dealership wash mine. Then again, I clean it before I take it in for oil changes that way they don't even bother to ask.

          If I had to guess the car wasn't totally clean after the wash and now they are smearing the grime with the towels. At Least thats been my experience.

              It's a commercial, production-based car wash though. Most people don't even know what a swirl is! Can't expect the car wash to spend $10 on a single, good MF drying towel when they can get 3, 4, or 5 regular towels for the same price and people keep coming.

              Someone has to keep the detailers in business
