    Windows ME??? That has got to be the worst operating system of all time. In fact, it is an upgrade to switch to 98 or 98SE. We had a Dell that came with ME and it was loaded with problems.

      I got it pretty stable with aftermarket programs but it wasn't fun or easy as XP to keep stable.

      I haven't fired the computer up in some time and have a lot of information on it that I need to burn to a disk......hopefully it will fire up!

      It's an old, old, old, computer.

      My first computer had Windows 95, Windows 3.1 was fun at work! We had a word processor that was MS-DOS based, it was fun to show co-workers a copy of the work they did, you know, the one they deleted..... the backup always haunts you!!!

          ME was pretty bad too, but Vista still takes the cake IMO.
