6 MPG? Seriously? Being 19, I hope you have done your homework and number crunching...gas could get really expensive very soon (especially with the new pres pushing alternate fuels).

I'm looking at a CTS-V. Mighty fine cars, just love the vette engines. My TA has the LT1 and it's a solid machine. I need to wrap up MBA school before any more big purchases though...

6... Yikes, I get 14-18 in the Suburban! Now it only has the 5.3L, but I can carry 7 other people and all their stuff. Plus, it can really move when you put your foot in it.

6 mps's holy cow, you're in SRT-10 territory. Actually on an open freeway on a SRT-10 Ram we did about 17-18mpg per the reading driving at 75mph Just have to watch how you drive. On a good day in my SRT-4 I average about 26-29mpg's without pushing it. BUt anyhow low ball them like everyone mentioned. I'm sure you guys will end up somehwere in the middle. Hopefully closer to your budget. Let us know how it turns out. Better yet send us the picture once you get it.
