  • What an amazing past two days off...

Yesterday, tranny in the Neon stopped working. Tranny oil pump is gone.

Today, found out from co-workers, not management or the owners, that the owners decided while the restaurant was closed to lock up the doors. Now I have no job.

All the happiness I had from finding out my Wal-Mart is getting pretty cool and being able to buy Ultimate Wax, Ultimate Compound, and Swirl X today is gone............

At least I have enough money to make the car payment this month. Can't wait to see what's next!!!

Look for some stuff up in the for sale section in a bit...

I know how you feel, alot of people at my work got laid off, myself included. But I ended up finding a new job and still maintain my lifestyle. Just start looking for a new one.

Tyler, sorry to hear about this.
Don't you have some relatives/friends that you could detail in the meantime ?

That would be a nice income I guess
              Best of luck

Look to government jobs in your area Tyler, once your in the door, you can (usually) bounce around departments.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for speedy resolution.

I just drove to my favorite restaurant tonight to find it was closed up. My immediate thought went to all the great people who used to work there. Times are the worst I can recall in my lifetime but I'm encouraged that 2009 will bring growth in the economy. My thoughts are with you and I hope you land on your feet. Stay tough.

On the bright side, bad stuff usually comes in 3's.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm duking it out with a guy in court who is trying to take 2 houses back from me that he claims was illegally sold (even though he signed the deeds over). Only about $600K on the line.

Thanks all very much. Very kind and supportive words. I feeling better I guess having "vented" a bit. Usually things work out for me for the better in these situations (thank goodness), although, my next job would be my third......lol!

Francis- That is an option for me, and I will probably see what I can get. With the new Ultimate Compound, Swirl X, and M80, I should be able to tackle a lot of jobs easier.
Aaron- I'd love to take on a government job, but with school, I can't work the M-F shifts.

Thanks again! It means a lot to me!

Forgot your doing the school thing. Some agencies have permanent "part time" positions. My wife works for W.I.C. and works 3 days a week (48 a pay period) and has Mon and Fri off including weekends and holidays! Lucky girl.

A resolution is near I hope
