Gang,
I've given you now 2,000, advice, pointless joke or two, "welcome to MOL" enteries all in the name of helping or seeking help to keep my/yours/there's cars shiny!
I appreciate Mike for his work and dedication to MOL. He tested my G100 when I went through a period of having problems with it and I just wanted to rule out all possibilities. Thanks Mike. Pad saturation, clean your pad on the fly boys and girls
.
You artists, I love to read your show off's, Extreme Makeover's and read and see the pictures, in amazement. Some true artists here.
We let our 3rd oldest child (only boy) take a buddy with him to snowboard on Northstar while the parents sat in the room back at Lake Tahoe. We read, relaxed and looked at beautiful Lake Tahoe. The couple we went with had their car overheat shortly after depature and we piled all of our stuff into our Yukon and away we went, 6 of us crammed in the car with stuff packed to the ceiling. It was fun though, we shared expenses and just had a good time.
It did snow a lot and our car got pretty dirty. I was not concerned as I put a couple of coats of M16 on her and was satisfied it was pretty protected until I got home to wash her.
The boy had fun and it was our CHRISTmas too. I did get an Xbox 360 from my parents (funny gift to give your 39yr old boy eh? LOL) and my brother gave me Call of Duty 4 for CHRISTmas. We just got that this last Sunday. I was teaching my wife how to play, it was fun doing that. I loved throwing a flash bang at her on split screen
She called me horrible names

Dirty Yukon
The road over Donner Pass was horrid! Our Yukon is 2wd but the chain guys think it's 4wd with the bigger tires. 4wd is not the miracle for snow/mud, it's good driving. We had chains but I haven't had to put them on that car and our local Siskiyou mtn pass gets hairy.

Top view: Wierd, the photo swapped on me, notice it's backwards.....I'll have to look into that one

It snowed a little bit

I thought this looked funny and had to get a shot: The night before, it would rain/snow/freeze, repeat. So..... It was fun to scrape the windows on that beast, The Prius next to me didn't have a scraper and the older gentlemen was using a towel, I let him borrow my scraper as the car was warming up. Very nice man, him and his wife were on a vacation I think.

It was beautiful over there, despite the snow and cold.

This is our desktop now, for a while until some snowboarding poster makes it on there. Kids.....

Oh yeah, and the main reason we went.....
Notice the boy had good form, wearing his snowboard jacket, new pants and um.....not wearing a helmet. His momma was not happy.
He did lose his helmet and after explaining that there is a time stamp on the pictures regardless if you want it displayed on the picture or not. He hung his head. I said "BUSTED".
I said it'll be fun to feed ya with a straw. He does normally wear a helmet and we didn't bust his chops too bad. It was his Christmas and birthday present.

When we got home, it was snowing at home, roads nasty but I had to wash her. Notice the car with me, at least I wasn't the only goof out there washing their car

A side by side:

So yeah, 2,000 post's seems a lot, until I look at Mike's but it's like his job and stuff.....
I hope some of you benefitted from my ramblings, joke or two, welcome to MOL etc etc.
This is a great place to hang out and great people to get to know. Like Michael Stoops said, good to log on and see familiar faces....er familiar names.
Now if you excuse me, I'm working on another avatar to put up to keep ya guessing.
Care to go canoeing with me on Tahoe.....
