  • Christmas Presents?

What detailing-related gift did you receive this Christmas? My eldest son gave me this halogen tripod from Sears:

My wife gave me the non-detailing-related gift of a bottle of my favorite single malt scotch--Oban! I have not enjoyed it for the past two or three years, given how expensive it now is. Oh, it is delicious indeed!

We went to Tahoe this last weekend and got away from it all while the teenage boy was snowboarding on Northstar so that was our Christmas.....We went with some friends and their son. Got rid of the kid for a few hours and just enjoyed ourselves while overlooking Lake Tahoe and read, sleep, lounge around, drive in the snow and enjoy the crisp cold fresh air!

But, Santa got me a couple packs of yellow applicators (can never have too many of those) and some dark dark chocolate, and a Tony Stewart remote control car! Can't be too old to have toys I got a couple of movies. My mother and father in law had a wonderful ham dinner with the fixin's and I am stuffed now I am at work in the ol' lock up and feel like I am 600lbs carting the weight around from tonight and Thanksgiving!

Bass Pro gift cards. This will support my other hobby/income. Fishing and guiding!

I have enough detail supplies that know one gets me anything detailing related anymore.

Well I got a tripod for my camera and some photography books, and since my main use for the new camera was for taking pics of the cars I do, I guess it's detailing related.

Yeah but you're building a resume! Just do what I do.....
Make a CD of the pics for your customers when they do a full detail so they have pics if they ever wanna sell their car.

That's a neat idea! It also gives them a good before and after look of what they paid for.

Some gloves for work, sure gets cold working in 40 degrees for 8-12 hours at a time.

Lots and lots of cash, including some from grandparents overseas.....maybe use it for a laptop or some detailing supplies, still deciding.

                        Yep. Sure does.
For my higher end details I've done a poster for them from vistaprint. I've also done photobooks from CVS. Both are under 30.00.........the least I can do for spending more than 350.00 with me.
