Guitar paint maintenance?

Should I try ScratchX on a guitar?

What else would be appropriate for the finish from what I have?
There are some light scratches and it has some type of clear coating/paint.

- Quick Detailer
- Interior Quick Detailer
- Tech Wax 2.0
- ColorX

Do a test pot on the back first of course.

But all of your products would be fine.

Most fancy electric guitars use the same types of paint used on cars. Older classic non-electric guitars will have lacquer paint.

Either way you can use Meguiar's automotive paint care products on your guitar.

Please post a before and after picture and like Matt posted, do a test spot first.
