My local store has 2 new bottles of polish from the first set and the one missing from the second set. If you want Mike, I can get you a brand new bottle of it and send it out to you. Otherwise, I have my used bottle around here somewhere...

The one that is identified as Deep Crystal is interesting. I remember using this stuff when it was first new.

Found these on the shelf at my friend Dave's:

Spoke with Dick Koeth here at Meguiar's about Meguiar's early Consumer Line products and he shared with me that Deep Crystal was a pure polish akin to M07 Show Car Glaze that was introduced in approximately 1982

At that time there was no dedicated paint cleaner or dedicated wax under the Deep Crystal name; there was however a dedicated paint cleaner called Heavy Duty Cleaner and of course A12 Cleaner/Wax i both paste and liquid,

In approximately 1984 a dedicated paint cleaner and dedicated wax was introduced under the Deep Crystal name and the Deep Crystal System was born.

Still looking for the wax bottle that goes with this label design... to borrow, trade or buy. It's not really a collectible like a glass bottle from before the 1950's and 1960's It's just nice to have the bottle with the other bottles for a uniform consistent picture.




Have a bottle of Vibrant Paint Shield to trade...

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you Mike.

Our local Carquest has the earlier design (like in your poster above) of the Marine car wash. The bottles are distorted somewhat though and labels are shot. I'll go back and see if one is okay or not and take a pix and I'll look for the other bottle for you and I'm always on Ebay.

I love those vintage bottles! I still have some of my DC stuff from '96. It's almost nauseating how much of this stuff I have, considering I don't make any money with it.

I thought I was the only one that was "into" this stuff.
