  • The Tundra Is Frozen

Brrrrrr, it was -16F (-27C) windchill when I came in to work this morning. It's warmed up to 6F with calm winds. So far we have gotten record snow falls too. The snow bank at the end of my driveway is chest high and I'm 6' tall. I don't know where I'm going to put the rest of the snow we are going to get this winter. Makes it tough to do detailing. The Jeep hasn't been washed in a few weeks. If it's not snowing it's been really cold. It's going to warm up this weekend and snow both days, then back to the single digits next week.

    We need a frozen smiley.

So what's the weather like where your at?

Well, it's not California weather, but it is 34f outside over here...

Snow? What snow? We got a 1/32" last week and that's about it.

I was worried it would be frozen like a brick. It was cold but not frozen.

It just makes me dream of moving and wondering why I'm still here.

41 for a low and 62 for a high tomorrow! I guess I will have to break out a sweat shirt. I might even have to turn on the furnace. I moved from Chicago 14 years ago and never looked back.

Here in South Dakota, Its still holding on to a temp of 26 right now. A little warmer for saturday, but saturday night and the next 5 days arent looking so good. We are in a blizzard warning, 4-8 inches of snow and winds 20-30mph. Thats not it, The temps are going to be subzero, The low for monday night is down to -17 and the tuesday's high is a whopping -5. Temps staying like this all week.

I think I wil be happy to have that remote start this week!!

We are calling for temps on Sunday as a high of 72 with strong winds pushing in a cold front for the first part of next week with high temps not getting above 30 with freezing rain and sleet. I just hope it isn't like last year where 1/2 million people lost power across the state for weeks and electric crews from around the US came to help to restore power. If there are any electric workers reading this. I would like to say thanks for I was only without power for about 5 days. The farthest truck I seen was from South Carolina. Oklahoma doesn't get snow very often usually ice.

Heat wave currently, a whopping 38 and tomorrow supposed to top out at around 42 or so. Rest of the week 30 or below. Fortunately not a lot of snow forcasted yet but I'm sure that will change. Can not wait to move back down south again.

                            This just in:

We're supposed to get "significant ice accumulations" on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I hope my final on Wednesday doesn't get cancelled!!!

                            Remember this from last year?

                              it is about -24C outside.

No detailing for a while I imagine! We got a pretty good dump of snow over the last two days, so I am staying in the house as much as possible. Blah cold temps such!
