Man, the biggest bummer is that they put your name on one heck of an ugly car! Lol...

I think it's just the color.

I like a lot of Mercedes designs but just not feeling this one.

"The result looks like an Opel Meriva that ran into a BMW Z4, swiped the rear hatch off an Audi Q7, then ran through the Tron-wash. Why Benz is recycling widely panned BMW styling language is anyone's guess, but someone had to do it."

Interesting way of breaking it down

                Ouch...

Honestly, it looks like a Honda Odyssey with BMW headlights and a Benz badge slapped on there. Plus, the air flow around the rear wheels makes it look like a Honda Insight.

Scott, you should have copyrighted that name!!!

I am sorry, but that car is ugly. Not only should they give you a car, but the glove compartment should be stuffed with cash.

Re: Mercedes Benz Stole My Name!

I could get a few dollars for every one of the BlueZero cars sold. On second thought that doesn't seem like a good idea.

It's great that they are trying to do something more environmentally friendly. However it makes it hard to accept when it's so ugly. There are plenty of cool small cars. It's almost like they don't want it to be accepted by the public.

You think they would have ran the prototype past me first or something. I could have saved them a bunch of time and money.

I think that is the production version of this...

Based on the shape of the Boxfish found in the ocean, it has a Cd of 0.19. The vehicles with the lower Cd now are the Toyota Prius and Lexus LS600h with 0.26. The lowest in recent memory is the original Honda Insight with 0.25

                              From CNN "
The design team eschewed expensive, complicated and heavy fuel-cell or hybrid powertrains, opting instead for a 1.9-liter four-cylinder direct-injection turbodiesel that pushes the fishmobile to 62 mph in 8.2 seconds with a combined city/highway fuel economy of 70 mpg.

At a constant 56 mph, the concept car will return an amazing 84 mpg.

Although the Bionic isn't coming to your local dealership, Mercedes does expect it to significantly influence the design language of its next generation of small cars."

I think that explains their design of the Bluezero
