    If you want some beginning photo lessons, go to SONY.com, service & support, electronics, 101 Online learning. They have all types of online courses you can take, and unless they have changed, they are FREE. They may not make you a pro, but they will get you started. I did a couple a few years back on video photography and I learned a few things. If nothing else it gives you something else to read on these cold, snowy winter nights.

        Exact same camera I bought. My advice.....get a tripod! That has been the single greatest tool for shooting a good picture.
