  • One detailing apron I would NOT buy

According to an email I received ... this is brand new product from a competitor.

I took one look and said... you've gotta be kidding me!

I much prefer Megs black aprons!

That looks like a cross between an apron and a bath robe and for some reason that photo reminded me of the movie The Christmas Story when Ralph's mom forces him to wear that bunny outfit.

Microfiber apron, I've always questioned why Meguiar's doesn't come out with something like this. I am constantly having to lean over a vehicle. And as much as I try not to, I always seem to touch the surface with my apron.

Color isn't great, but it's the concept I've been looking for. Wonder if you can die it? Hmmmm

I never detail without an apron... but I like and use my Meguiar's apron.

Never had an issue with it scratching or hazing paint. I also make a point to only wear soft, mesh shorts, a t-shirt, and no jewelry. I play it a bit on the safe side, though

I wear hospital scrubs when cleaning my car, soft and light. No belt loops or buttons, only a drawstring.

That apron is unsightly. It almost has a waffle weave type look to it.

I can see the concept. But that color has to go. I will stick to my Meguiars apron.

Hahaha.. I was also looking for a thick at front with lots of pockets MF apron.. I buy it if its black though.

Maybe it would be more appealing in pink...

If it was available in pink my wife might actually help me detail the cars.

Uh, you do understand that SHE would be wearing the pink apron, not me, right? Just wanted to be clear.
