  • Help? Powerpoint custom background/template?

    Hey guys and gals...

I'm trying to put something together in powerpoint that rotates several pictures in the same spot and keeps looping them. It is meant to show a progression of the same vehicle, start to finish.

I just want 3 pictures to keep rotating in the same spot on top of themselves as long as the slide is open. Is this possible?

You can do it that way in the slide's custom animation timeline. Each photo gets assigned a number... put them in the order you want displayed then, add fade in & out effects for each.

Ok, one more question for the powerpoint gurus...

If I want to use a nice jpg to be the FULL slide "template" per se for the entire powerpoint, how do I import it as a layout?

Here is the link to what I want to use: PPT background!

Ok. Go to slide master and from there insert the background that you require. Go back to the normal view and all your slides would display the selected background. Gosh, I used to train folks on Ms Office...now I'm kinda forgetting all the things

            Are you using 2007?

In '07, you can right click - "Format Background" - "Picture or texture fill" - Then you can select the picture from your files.

No, but I bet that have gatekeeper as a sidekick... (pardon the Ghostbusters pun).

Great. Glad to hear. The other thing you can do is go to:

Slideshow > Set up show > check the box "Loop continuously until ESC".
