We tend to use ColorX as it cleans, polishes and protects in one step. NXT would be a good choice for a new shower stall or one that is previously cleaned.

Will be interesting to see if anyone is using NXT this way?

Its the hydrophic properites that are of interest. Might help stop the buildup or at least lessen the effect.

I polished mine with a PC and #83 and followed up with UQD. Amazingly easy to keep clean.

Think it's ok to ask this. Should we clay? [Sorry...newbie here]

If you're going to do an extreme makeover on a fiberglass shower stall then usually you'll want to use a fairly aggressive product to cut off any film that's build up.

You could use Comet or you could use M49 Oxidation Remover from our Marine line. There's actually lots of options that will work on a shower stall.

As for claying, you could clay the shower stall but if you're going to use some kind of aggressive cleaner to remove any film or gunk build up then might as well save your clay for your car.

I like using A-12 cleaner wax on our fiberglass shower.

I used NXT1.0 ... I noticed they have less buildup and stay clean longer. Plus cool to see water just sheets down.
