  • Don't forget to vote

I hope this is not taken to be a political thread, because it is not meant to be, I just wanted to remind everyone to get out & vote tomorrow. It is one of the freedoms that we have, that some people do not have. If the mods feel this should not be here feel free to remove it. I will not be offended.

    Re: Don't forget to vote

Everyone should get out and vote. The only reason that this thread would be against the rules is if it was stating an opinion on who to vote for and why. It would lead to a political argument which would cause issues with the forum. This reminder to vote thread seems to be OK.

I've already voted. My wife and I have been doing "Absentee Ballots" for the last 10 years. It's easy and convenient.

I spent 1:55 in line early voting on Fri. Excercise your rights... a lot of people died for the right for some of us to vote!

Yeah exercise your right, if you don't then no matter the outcome you don't have the right to argue because you didn't vote

Well, on saturday for the first time The wife and I exercised the early voting option down here in Florida. Got up way early, At the polls at 7:00 on the dot. Were the second and third in line. We were done by 7:15. Took the wife out to breakfast. It was a great experience.

we got to the polls 5 minutes before they opened, and line was out the door.
Took us a little over an hour. Two precincts, two separate lines. my precinct was out the door, the other precinct was a ghost town. 4 voting booths not being used hardly at all! And my precinct had only about 120 more voters.

Wife and I were voters 45 and 46 according to the ballot machine.

I wish Early Voting was open to all states. In TN, I voted a couple weeks ago in about 5 minutes. No wait, just walked in and voted.

For the states where Early Voting is not an option, do employees get the day off to vote? It only seems fair (to me) given the lines can be very long.

                          Here is my opinion:
If you don't like either candidate, don't vote for the lesser evil!
The most patriotic thing you can do is not vote for either, or go third party

When we voted, there was 4 others voting. We live in a rural county, like the 3rd-4th biggest land wise county in Califorinia but running 43,000 people strong .
