Is anyone else using Firefox Minefield?

Wow, is this fast. I just downloaded it. I never had a problem using Firefox 3 but this is way faster. It's almost like my internet got bumped to the faster package.

Here's an article on it... Think Firefox 3 is fast? Try Firefox Minefield

Here's a download link too... Minefield

    Re: Firefox Minefield

I just downloaded it at school here, and anything is slow with our network. I will try it at home to see.

Have you tried Google Chrome? It's so far the fastest on my computer, I'll try Minefield though later.

      Re: Firefox Minefield

I haven't tried Chrome. From the reports I've been reading Minefield is at least 10% faster.

It's a huge difference between Minefield and Firefox 3 on my work computer.

Let me know if you like it!

        Re: Firefox Minefield

Minefield is significantly faster than Firefox 3. Too bad several of my favorite add-ons don't work yet. Of note, adblocker is worth its weight in gold. I hope Minefield is the future for Firefox. I haven't used IE for years now.

I like Chrome and find it faster than IE 7. Although I have been a pretty steady Firefox user. I really like all the plugins...like GreaseMonkey (for tweaking Google Analytics),DomainTools, YSlow, SEOBook

I'm using it right now and I must say that I think Chrome is still faster, plus I like the favorites page when you open a new tab.

Is Minefield different from FireFox 3.0.3?? When I go to the download page, it takes me to FF 3.0.3.

You have to go to the download link I provided in my first post.

Just be warned everyone this isn't a final release so there may be bugs and issues. It's worked flawless for me but I've only used it since yesterday.

I will wait and see what comes of this after a bit more use, but I am always up for faster browsing!

                          Re: Firefox Minefield

I've been using it occasionally for the past few months. It works great and I can tell the difference between Minefield, Firefox, and Opera.

Plus, it has yet to give me an error.

Just downloaded it, and like it a lot. But found that mapquest maps don't work on it. They show up, but are non-interactive. Had to use IE instead...
