Be careful when you buff headlights!
I buffed out the hood on a 2000 Yukon yesterday. Just when I was finishing up I noticed the one headllight was a bit foggy. I grabbed a 4" pad and some M105 and went to work. Worked great. Did another pass at it. While I was wiping off the polish the headlight snapped and pointed down. Oh no!!! What did I do! Opened up the hood to see the bracket that holds and aims the light was snapped. I could see that it was broke before and had been glued. The owner wasn't as freaked out as I was. He went in his truck and brought out some super glue. We glued it then put some duct tape to hold it while it set. Poor guy comes to get his hood buffed and leaves with this...

On the plus side his hood looked much better! It was so swirled it had a hazy look. I didn't get it perfect but did get it looking a lot better.
