Thanks. Yea... almost ready for service. I am ready to get in this thing, yet am not going to rush it. I didn't like my trailer too much. It did not have a side door, which made it a pain to access things. I hated crawling in and out of it. Now I moved "some" of it to my truck bed while I am making the transition. I really do not like it. Looks unprofessional in my opinion. To have it all sticking out of the bed.
Have to load and unload my equipment every time I need to go somewhere. The generator gets heavy after a while.. lol

With the van, everything will be right there when I open the door.... for the most part. Should shave some time off a detail.

Looks good! Sounds well thought out, I am sure it will be nice to have a dedicated vehicle for your stuff... jump in and go!

Ever consider using ONR? It would drastically reduce water consumption and save gas because you won't need to haul as much water around. It's also kinder to the environment.

You should paint the van black with a red stripe and call yourself A-team detailing. Also hire Mr. T to drive you around.

Ever consider using ONR? It would drastically reduce water consumption and save gas because you won't need to haul as much water around. It's also kinder to the environment.

I have used ONR and QEW. I do not feel comfortable using them. User preference I guess. The fact that I hated doing wheels and wheel wells with it and using too many MF towels.
I just feel better using a pressure washer....

do people really use this stuff?? i could have washed that wheel 6 times with soap and water. does all that grime and brake dust actually wash away completely? there is no way considering gravity

as for washing the car with onr wont you scratch the paint without rinsing off the dirt prior to washing? what about the top surfaces how does the wash solution and dirt come off the paint?

how is it kinder to the environment? the dirt and grime will still need to be washed off the towels in the washer...which probably uses more water than actually washing the car traditionally.

Yes, there are many people who use Optimum No Rinse. It has a very, very large following. I actually much prefer to wash with ONR rather than conventionally.

The way it works as I understand it, the polymers in this product will surround and lift particles from the surface and basically float them to the top where they are safely removed with a drying towel. The high lubricity of this product prevents the user (or rather reduces the risk) from instilling swirl marks or marring.

That's not been my experience. I don't really go through an inordinate number of towels when using ONR, nor does it come remotely close to using as much water as a conventional wash (it's about 2-4 gallons for an ONR wash versus about 40 gallons for a regular wash). I don't know the exact number for the regular wash but I would assume it would be something close to that.
