I turned 18 today

I am now officialy an adult which brings good news. I went out to a Ford dealer and applied as a car sales men/ auto detailer. well I can't be there detailer they just layed off 9 detailer/ wash guys. The good news is a may get the job a new car sales men. I have to call the sales manager back tonight and hope all goes well. I think I have a good to a great chance. I was told by the supervisor that they would love to have a young enthusiasctic sales guy that loves Ford.

I applied at Folsom Lake Ford. The bad news I just got off the phone with the sales manager and he said they just hired a guy yesterday and today was that guys first day but I may get one if it does not work out. So oh well I am going to the nissan dealer to fill out another one. If they did not hire that guy They said they would have hired me probably. Thanks guys

Happy Birthday, and dont worry theres no shortage of jobs out there, now you wouldnt want to do this job over here in England, New Cars just are not selling, the dealers are struggling to meet targets any so they are laying people off. Cars are the second largest thing we buy, but over here most of new car sales are probably company cars, so they get sent to auction and sold of on the cheap at 2-3 years old, plenty of depriciation has occured, perfect for the buyer.

Plus we get ripped of for everything, take the Mini Cooper for example, its made in Oxford in England and there is next to no discount for this impractical little car (they drive great but thats about it), we pay a £2000 premium for a car that doesnt have to be shipped half way round the world, doesnt seem commons sense to me?
