Here in the NW corner of Georgia, we're still bumping the 3.80 mark for regular, when you can find it. Diesel is still at the 3.99 mark.
Seems our state EPA mandated a lower sulfur mixture for us, and the supply still hasn't caught up from the hurricanes. I drive by about a half-dozen stations between work and home - most of the have the signs off and the pump handles covered. Regular fuel can be found, but it can sometimes involve a drive of several miles out of your way. Mid grade and premium are still scarce. One station in particular that I usually use hasn't had diesel in about 2 weeks.
Guess it could be worse, but I really hope the supply levels improve.
Right down the road from our house the local gas station here in the High Desert has Regular for $3.55 a gallon.
Been looking into a Propane Conversion for my latest project truck since it's not about performance but just a daily driver and it has a place for a propane tank.

How about building your own hybrid?
They are quite a few kits/instructions for DIYer, especially for people with large, older vehicles that have lots of spare room.

My best friends younger brother is converting a snowmobile over to propane for a college project. I'm interested to see how it works out.

Had a friend once with a 1970 Chevy 3/4 ton 2-wheel drive truck that ran on propane, never seen him work on the truck, just get in and drive it.
Did some research, you lose some power, maybe a few miles per gallon and finding places to fill up that are set-up to charge for the approprate State and Federal taxes seems to be the challenge.

I just started getting Schwan's home delivery for frozen food. Not sure if you have those guys out your way. All their trucks run on propane from what the driver told me. Next time he stops by I'll have to chat with him about his truck some more.

my dad works for them, the company used to run completely on propane, then they switched to diesel, and propane is coming back. the propane has a different sound to it even. it can be some pretty nasty stuff to deal with, but it's cool to say your truck runs on propane!
gas is still a stupidly high 3.50 here, in SC, where we're supposed to have some of the cheapest gas in the country...
2.89 today! My grandpa loved El Caminos and he must have converted 3 or 4 to run on propane. He also was curious how much he could cut gas with water before a car wouldn't run. I'm not sure of the results I will have to ask dad... must not of went well because it is a family story.

Cool! When the driver was parked out front of my house we where on the front step talking. I couldn't figure out why his truck sounded so different. It wasn't a diesel sound but yet didn't sound like gas either. When I asked him I was surprised to hear it was propane. On a related side note... It's good food and even I can cook (heat) it up. lol
