Well, I'll be watching the ceremonies from my office window and the day will be etched in my mind forever as my office is one block from the site and watched countless people jump to their deaths and then thought I would die myself when the South tower fell and I was standing about a block and half away.

It really doesn't matter the place you were when it happen it just changed the lives of people in the hole American Continent, every one suffered not only the loss of human lives but dark days came down fast.
I remember that I was in English Class, my teacher was from NY and they entered the room and said the news, we just looked at each other and went directly to the TV. (I remember the morning before I was on the US Embassy renewing my passport and we saw each other there as well)
As a future firefighter, this is a day that will always have a special meaning to me. This is one of the reasons i want to become a FF.
Everyone remember the 343 members of the FDNY, among others, that entered those towers and never returned.
One fireman stopped to take a breath, and we looked each other in the eye," said Louis G. Lesce, who was on his way down from the 86th floor of 1 World Trade Center, the first tower hit. "He was going to a place where I was darn well trying to get out of. I looked at him thinking, 'What are you doing this for?' He looked at me like he knew very well. 'This is my job.'"
Same here Ryan, I was in 6th grade and I did not go to school that day too. I remeber also waking watching the news all day. Very very sad day.
I was a senior in high school and in between classes my friend told me that two planes hit a building in New York and I thought he was joking or something. I went to my next class, economics, and we watched it throughout class. An accounting professor of mine's birthday is also on the 11th, so I would imagine birthday's have never exactly been the same for him.

I remember where I was too. I was a road warrior at the time. I entere a store and the manager said have you heard this ****?
Needless to say I got little done that day. Another site I remember is sitting in a parking lot and noticed a circle in the sky, then another, it turns out it was the planes headed back to land.
My wife worked with some people in the towers from here in KC.
I was at work when it happened and heard about it on the radio so I went to the upstairs breakroom where there is a TV and some co-workers already had the news channel on.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing....
We need to all remember this incident and keep in mind that while the terrorist that were in these planes have met their maker, their's still people that think like them waiting in the wings and for this reason we must all be ever-vigilant.

I was in a campground on the Oregon Coast and watched it in horror all day. That evening some young folks started a silent walk through the campground passing out candles to everyone that joined in. Some folks sang hymns but I had such a lump in my throat I couldn't even speak.
(This movie is intense, and IS UPSETTING!
