      Re: The Microfiber Showdown

I'm still waiting on the Ultimate Wipes to come in.

The good news is that I have the black vehicle polished up and ready for testing. The bad news is that I won't be around next weekend.

For the water absorbancy testing, I've decided to leave the Supreme Shine and Ultimate Wipes out. In their place, I will use the Microfiber Water Magnet.

          Hey everyone,

Well, things are about to get started in the microfiber test.

I need to thank VoicesInMyHead and 3Fitty for donating some of the test towels. I really appreciate your contributions and it helps make the testing more complete!

          Can you name the towels?

Top row left to right... ADS Blue?, Meguiar's Ultimate Wipe, Meguiar's Supreme Shine. Bottom row left to right... Micropak, Cookie Monster?, Eurow Shag

            How did I do?

The orange Vroom towels - I never had lint issues from them, not once.

JUST SAW THIS THREAD!!! Amazing! I had no idea you were going to test them. I'm really looking forward to your findings. I've got three of the 6 your testing, so I'll be interested to see what you think.

I'm liking the Euro Shag, except for the size (as depicted in your pics - it is easy to spot because it is so small). It is definitely the most "luxurious" feeling MF I've used.

                          Miahjohn,

Were the blue Walmart towels in a bulk package? I don't remember seeing any MF towels last time I went to my local Walmart.

I'll be cheering for the Sam's Club cheap towels as those are my main drying and wiping towels. I do use a Megs SS for wax removal though.

I think like everything else it's more about personal preference than other factors. It certainly will be interesting to see the results.
