    Absolutely incredible!

    I'm not sure if you guys get just how incredible this is in the field of robotics, but let me put it this way; the robot isn't following a set of pre-programmed responses like in most robots we see, rather it is reacting to the environment in EXTREMELY complex ways from how to bend the legs, to how much force it should apply, and so forth in a VERY, VERY fast manner. Even Honda's ASIMO has NOTHING on how advanced this thing is!

    This technology could truly open up a whole new world in advancements.

    That is cool but kind of scary. Scary in a sense that we can create that kind of stuff and that it looks like a defense system that you want to run away from. freaked me out when it was walking and making that noise. plus I remember reading the book Farhrenheit 451 and it had robotic dogs in the book. That book was about the future if I remember correctly.

            That was very impressive. The applications for search and rescue would be tremendous. Just to name one capability of this robotic dog.
